This year, Belper Bicycle Club are co-hosting Markeaton Park Cyclo-cross event in conjunction with Cycle Derby CC.
The event on September 30th is open to all ages and has proved to be a popular and fun day out.
As well as event participants we need our wonderful club members to help run this event; we are looking for volunteers to help Marshall as well as work on the signing on desk, course creation / course take down. Whilst the event is all day, we can accommodate those who are limited to say a few hours.
The volunteer roles and times are as follows:-
Course creation – 7 am to 9 am (briefing 7 am)
Signing on desk – 8.30 am to 3.30 pm (Briefing 8.30 am)
Marshalling – 9.30 am (first race 10 am) to circa 3.30 pm (briefing 9.30 am)
Course take down / clear up – from around 3.30 pm.
Lunch and Snacks will be provided.
