14 riders made their way to Darley Moor for the second of our circuit sessions. Although the weather wasn’t looking too promising the dark clouds soon cleared and the sun came out.
Some riders took the opportunity to make the most of traffic and pothole free tarmac and rode at their own pace around the outside of the circuit, whilst others took part in some structured training.
After a quick warm up, we practiced some chain gang riding, slight up the pace as the block went on. This was followed by some sprint practices which soon warmed up everyone’s legs. After a quick drink stop and recovery we began our 3 up break away from the group practice, a great effort by Jack, Joel and Dave saw them stay away from this chasing group who were working well together.
All riders had a great time, even if we did have avoid a low flying drone for most of the session, although thanks to Mark we do have some great aerial footage of the session.
Our next Darley moor session will be on the 11th July, keep your eyes out on the website for details and come and give it a go.
