Here we go again - Saturday 12th October. Are you going to choose to go "Way out West" or not quite so far "Out West"? The Autumn Spordax is just round the corner and this time we have an extra route option. As usual we have road options at 60 and 80 mile, a 50 mile gravel route and a brand new 43 mile trail out and back route. Hopefully there is something in there for everyone. The café stop is one of our club favourite haunts, "The Old Smithy" at Monyash. Dave and his team are looking forward to seeing us. I will post the new menu up closer to the date.
Our lovely friends at the Dev are laying on meat or veggie curry, chips and rice which will be served in the Cow Shed.
The routes have all been ridden and will be available shortly for download to devices. We always endeavour to keep costs to minimum for our riders but as you will appreciate food costs have gone through the roof and we also have event insurance too. Hopefully you will still see the event as excellent value @ £8 for members and £10 for non members.
We have also made the event ticket only with online purchase - cash payment will not be available on the day. It is now a one stop shop - the link takes you directly to where you pay and are instantly emailed your Spordax ticket - you can print it and/or stick it in your digital wallet on your mobile device. The process is now seamless and with just a zap of your QR code from your ticket on the day and you will be signed in. This is a major step forward and makes it very slick.
The event is now live and we eagerly await entries from our amazing cycling community - register to the event and buy your tickets here: https://www.belperbc.co.uk/event-details/autumn-spordax-a-long-way-out-west-or-not-quite-so-far-out-west
Start point is as usual the Belper Triangle and times and links to routes are as follows:
8:00am - 80 mile - hilly road route
8:30am - 50 mile - gravel
9:00am - 60 mile - undulating road route
9:30am - 45 mile - flattish trail
Only a few weeks to go - don't miss out on what will prove to be another classic in our yearly calendar.
Look out for updates over the next few weeks 🚴🚴🚴🚴🚴🚴🚴🔆🔆🔆🔆🔆🔆🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
