11 riders on a cold autumn morning set out on a less hilly ride from the last few weeks, although it didn’t feel like it as all of the hills were front loaded on this course. A few scruffy lanes but on the whole the roads were good. The sun came out and the group kept together for much of the ride and we made it to the cafe safely, although one rider took a wrong turn and lost the group only to turn up at the cafe 10 minutes later. No chance of a lap of the Darley Moor circuit today as there was a cycle race on.
The return leg was incident free on a nice undulating course
with a fast average speed ensuring we got home early.
