Saturday riders to Eyam

10 riders started today on one of the clubs favourite routes (remember Cycling Weekly!). It’s a hilly start but the group kept together all the way to the cafe. A couple of riders had a squeaky bottom moment as they hadn’t realised how tight the hairpin was on the Curbar descent. The group split into two for the return leg home which started with a refreshing light drizzle but turned into heavy drizzle in places. Seeing how busy Bakewell was, some riders decided to climb to Winster and avoid the A6 black spots such as Matlock Bath. A great day to be out on the bike despite the rain that came later.
